Odprta kuhna, or Open Kitchen Market, has become a true institution in Ljubljana. Every Friday from March to October, Pogačarjev trg comes to life - weather permitting. From 10 AM to 9 PM, you can grab a bite and a drink at one of the many food stalls offering traditional Slovenian or international cuisine.

Originally launched as a gin festival, Brina has evolved into a celebration of mixology. Each June, for one afternoon, Križanke transforms into a vibrant space filled with lights, music, and specialty cocktails. It's a great place to hang out, sip creative drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Slovenia is no secret wine destination, with its diverse wine regions. Once a year in June, winemakers gather in the capital for a special “wine road” event - and again in November for St. Martin’s Day, a festive holiday celebrating new wine. Taste wines from different regions, enjoy classic pairings, and explore the variety Slovenian vineyards have to offer.
A classic combination - beer and burgers - takes over Pogačarjev trg once or twice a year. Expect everything from traditional to vegan and creative burger options, paired with craft beers from all over Slovenia.
